Dang Ran-yeong firmly pressed Cheong-ra's hand, which had finally grasped the sword hilt tightly, and put his lips close to his ear, saying. Cheong-ra shuddered as if disgusted and replied.
"I don't really want to see..."
"Look at how he's wetting himself even while being slapped and violated."
Despite knowing he shouldn't, Cheong-ra's gaze unconsciously turned towards Neung Jeong-dong's legs.
Neung Jeong-dong, his face swollen from being beaten, was begging his assailant with tears streaming down his face. It wasn't just tears; blood was also trickling from his nose and mouth, presenting a miserable sight. Compassion welled up involuntarily. However, the scholar seemed even more excited by this pleading and forcefully penetrated Neung Jeong-dong, who was still resisting.
The silk curtains were drawn back everywhere, fully exposing the scene of Neung Jeong-dong being forcibly violated to everyone. Neung Jeong-dong let out a shrill scream and writhed, pounding the floor with his hands in pain. Red blood flowed from between his buttocks.

Then, he took out a horsewhip from a tool box prepared on one side and began to lash Neung Jeong-dong indiscriminately. Despite the red welts appearing all over, painful even to look at, Neung Jeong-dong ejaculated once again while screaming.

He too had harbored a secret thrill when suffering cruel pain and defeat at Dang Ran-yeong's hands, so he couldn't help but understand this person called Neung Jeong-dong.
It was a moment when the world Cheong-ra had known until now was being shattered, and also a moment when he felt deep relief and joy. Living alone as an oddity was very different from knowing there were others like him.
While Cheong-ra was shaking with complex emotions, the incense rising from the censer grew thicker. After being violently violated several times, Neung Jeong-dong finally convulsed and fainted. The scholar, looking very satisfied, held his partner in his arms as if he had never cruelly abused him and disappeared behind the curtain.
Dang Ran-yeong gripped Cheong-ra's hand painfully tight. Only then did Cheong-ra come to his senses and look up startled, seeing a deep smile. The firm fingertips painfully scratched his sweaty palm, sending a slight shiver down his spine.
"There are many here who can give Young Master what he wants."
The lips pressed close to his ear moved. It was a smooth, low voice like a snake's, too quiet for anyone else to hear. Looking where Dang Ran-yeong nodded, Cheong-ra saw people properly dressed being served by slaves who were crawling voluntarily.
Now that he looked closely, the relationship between masters and slaves was not ordinary. Men and women, or women and men. Men and men, women and women. All relationships that would be considered taboo outside.
"Nothing that happens here ever leaks outside. There are those who can whip or beat you moderately without causing serious injury, and those who can flog you severely enough to make you wet yourself. Who does Young Master Baek Ri want?"
As he listened to Dang Ran-yeong's words, Cheong-ra slowly examined the other. Wherever his gaze fell, desire for a beautiful and strong beauty blossomed on the faces of the masters. However, unlike ordinary people, it wasn't a desire to possess the beauty, but a desire to make them kneel and break them.
"Anyone would want Young Master Baek Ri."
Cheong-ra looked up startled, but Dang Ran-yeong's face was just wearing a cool smile.
Cheong-ra felt no excitement at all despite seeing countless people who wanted him here. He was used to being the object of lustful gazes. Instead, what welled up was shame and anger. Far from being aroused by those people, he was angry. It was a cold anger that even Cheong-ra himself couldn't believe.
He didn't immediately understand why he was so angry. But the realization that followed cooled his heart.
"Is this all?"
Cheong-ra's voice, having calmed his turbulent feelings, was as cold as ice. Dang Ran-yeong raised an eyebrow as if surprised. Cheong-ra looked over the masters and slaves of this place once more. Not one was strong enough to meet his standards, and few were beautiful enough to satisfy him. His face hardened.
"I clearly said I need to be moved to want something. If you can't give me that, don't lay a finger on my body."
Cheong-ra shook off Dang Ran-yeong's hand holding his and abruptly stood up. Then he left the lewd and strange space without looking back. As he flung open the inner door, he saw another slave waiting. The slave tried to crawl quickly to open the door, but the angry Cheong-ra was faster in sliding the door open and leaving.
He felt very disappointed, irritated, and angry. Belatedly, Cheong-ra realized this was a sense of betrayal coming from his shattered expectations of Dang Ran-yeong.
'What exactly did I expect, and why?'
Had he expected Dang Ran-yeong to treat him specially, and was disappointed that he didn't? The answer that came after asking himself constricted Cheong-ra's chest. He hadn't understood stories of wealthy men losing their fortunes falling for beautiful people, but now he felt he could understand.
'He called Neung Jeong-dong "Young Master Neung". He called me "Young Master Baek Ri".'
Cheong-ra finally realized how insulting the title "Young Master" from Dang Ran-yeong's mouth was. It meant that to him, Cheong-ra and that Young Master Neung were the same. So what came out was a disappointed sigh. And then he was surprised at himself.
'Why do I have expectations for Dang Ran-yeong? He has no reason to treat me specially.'
He asked himself again, and the answer came immediately. Wanting the other to treat him specially meant that he was already considering the other special...
When had he become so fascinated by the other?
Thinking about it, Dang Ran-yeong was so strong and flawless that countless people must desire him. However, unlike them, Cheong-ra couldn't imagine licking Dang Ran-yeong's shoes in a place like earlier, or being whipped and ejaculating while writhing in pleasure. He felt more shock than empathy at Neung Jeong-dong's actions. He didn't want to become like that.
'How troublesome it would be if I were to actually fall for that person.'
Cheong-ra laughed softly at such an imagination. Then he felt a sense of crisis. Since this man seemed so attractive to him, wouldn't he eventually come to like him if they stayed together? It had to end with just physical attraction.
He reminded himself once again that the reason he was here was to get information from Dang Ran-yeong.
'Am I not thinking about faithfully following the Sect Leader's orders, but instead indulging in selfish desires...?'
As he was walking down the long corridor with such bitter emotions, his eyes met someone's. Both of them looked each other up and down, noting their properly dressed appearance. The other had a handsome face, a good physique, and seemed to be a martial artist who had trained diligently.
Cheong-ra briefly imagined this person treating him roughly. He considered whether it might be somewhat satisfying, if not perfectly so, but he still wasn't attracted. It only served to remind him how much Dang Ran-yeong matched his preferences, to the point of irritation.
'I should go back and meditate to clear these wicked delusions. How long will I live like this?'
He was about to turn his gaze away from the other person while inwardly sighing, when suddenly the man who had been staring at Cheong-ra with blatant interest flinched, quickly averted his eyes, and hurriedly ran away.
Before he could even wonder about this behavior, a rough hand firmly grabbed his hair.

Ahhhhh I’m sure you’re right! He has some prejudice about the the character without having to know him so he’s been looking down on him from the start but he can’t stop himself from being attracted to him, so I’m sure that also pisses him off because ‘why would he be attracted to someone who was clearly beneath him?’ And yet.. he follows him everywhere and finds himself letting him get away with shit he normally wouldn’t otherwise and then doing things for him that he definitely wouldn’t even consider if it were normal.. so he’s super upset that he’s being affected so he wants to humiliate and torment Cheong-Ra even more to vent his anger at himself. I personally think him wanting him to enter the contest id bogus and that he wants to keep him close so he can try to find something he can exploit and use to torment him but the more time he spends with him it’s clear he’s becoming more affected. If he wasn’t, he wouldn’t react in the first place.

That's what I'm trying to figure out 😭 Like Dang Ran Yeong is genuinely the epitome of "never let them know your next move" cause his temperament is kind of impossible to understand/predict right now (by design.) I'm curious whether he's genuinely irritated by the MC's reaction because he thought he'd been on the nose about his desires (and could finally get the ball rolling) I mean he was observing every bit of his reaction to the scene so he could definitely read the subtle "intrigue". Personally, my current theory is that like Cheong-ra, Dang Ran Yeong also has something of a "laser-guided kink" where his desires are similar yet different enough from the rest of these people that he still looks down on them to an extent. MC might potentially fit the bill in many ways for what the ML prefers, but because the ML thinks his desires are more akin to the "dogs" in this establishment, this flaw irritates him. (Back when they first met Dang said something along the lines of, "I don't eat things infested eith worms." Interesting and cruel statement I thought I'd bring up again, because I don't know if this is in reference to the misunderstanding of Cheong-ra's preference, or something else entirely)

Dang ran-yeong grabbing him by his hair? What the hell.. he must be pissed that what he thought was wrong again. Dang is actually really good at reading people the problem is cheong-ras preferences are extreme haha so like every time he thinks he’s got him figured out… Cheong-ra preferences win out. Honestly, if he had felt around a bit more down there the first time, Cheong-ra would have definitely been found out, the only thing that saved him him was that he basically cut the circulation off to his member.. if Dang had played a bit more I’m sure he would have found it so now he’s probably really confused… I wonder if he’s pissed now ?

Damn it I wanna know what happens next 😭😭😭 this novel is so wild oh my god. Oh and verrry interesting, if the term "Young Master" coming from Dang Ran Yeong is considered derogatory and indifferent, then the nickname "Beauty" from chapter 1 is much more of a weird "endearment" in comparison. I thought it was used as a form of mockery back then, but I guess now maybe there was more to their relationship than met the eye in that preview of the future. Still though thoughts aside what the hell did I just read 😭😅?
