Huh... If shit hits the fan and they need to get back up, Rhydion is hunting a void witch... my guess would be they're currently after the same target

Ian Tonelli

I've been thinking this for a while. There's a meaning of Virya (I think in Hindi, but I cant recall for sure) that means something along the lines of "to force to good" this is of course something from five minutes of googling, so I might be flat wrong about that.

It's true that they were working together when the goddesses appeared to them. You might be on to something.

Taborask

Apologies if people have already had this idea, but is it possible that the twist on this iteration of the Great Game is that Yoshi and Seiji were picked specifically so that they WOULD work together? And that Virya is actually hoping that they'll be the ones to put a stop to the cycle?

Narf

Oh come on Seiji! You should know that the whole "evil overlord sends his opponent down a cliff tumbling to his death" NEVER works out. Especially not in this world ruled by the trope-infatuated weeb goddesses.

Sleepless

Not quite. They're clearly both speaking Fflyr seeing as their companions can understand them. Seiji wouldn't have been able to introduce Japanese words to his troops if his words were automatically being translated into Fflyr.

Leaf

They are both speaking Japanese, the blessing of wisdom just acts as a universal translator

Too Much Sanity May Be Madness

Oooh. New recurring villain. Hopefully he survives the fast-approaching death of Jabrak.

I wonder once they get a chance to breathe if Yoshi will start to blame the goddesses for the death of his male teammate. Seiji has drawn his attention to how things really work and it’s become obvious that the goddesses want the isekai harem trope in full swing. Getting rid of the potential love competition would make sense. It also makes the death of our favorite sociopath look even more suspicious overall as now both teams have had the other main male members (potential love rivals) get killed abruptly. I think Seiji could put those dots together pretty quickly once he has a little time to ponder

Russell Todd

Yeah I feel like Yoshi has a lot of room for growth and development. I think having Seiji as an influence is really going to accelerate that growth.

Finn Ryan

One thing I liked about this chapter was showing some things Yoshi is better at than Seiji. He is tankier, but more importantly he knows the things that might be possible within the blessing system better. He won't need everything explained to him and will just know some things right off the bat. I am glad you went this way, having Yoshi be incompetent to propup seiji wouldn't have been great

Sleepless

I really like Seiji and Yoshi interacting. I feel like the two of them should default entirely to Japanese at some point and not even realize it.
