That’d be interesting even if just for the societal effects. That’d make dark elves a bigger threat to everyone while making light elves the best suited to combating them. That’d be another factor supporting the light elves position of privilege and minority rule.

I don't think they need much of a counter-reaction. In general, Dark Elf Stealth is going to be far more useful than having a portable torch. If anything this makes the light effect actually have a use outside of mundane utility.

If we’re lucky, he’s going to be asking to join the Dark Crusade. (If he gets Enjoined do they get each other’s special powers?) :D

Maybe... Or maybe Yoshi just can't get behind the idea of a revolution without trying to change things by working within the system first.

Makes me wonder what the counter reaction is. Just turning off their light seems underpowered compared to removing a stealth effect

Oh nice, light elf magic actually counters dark elf's stealth to an extent

I'm guessing it's the 'dont act like Japanese' unless you want to get discovered as Isekai dark lord/hero by the higher up.

Could be a declaration of love. Though too be fair every time I've been told that it was me getting told that I didnt get a promotion... But Yoshi doesnt have that power so most definitely a decalaration of love. Yes. Most definitely

This should be interesting. Must be tough to take the Dark Lord being more heroic than the Hero. But I think Yoshi has something else to say. He actually listened to his goddess so may have a better grasp of some ground rules than Seiji.

Hmm. Seems like Zui was expecting the Dark Lord to be someone like Jadrak, the power-hungry, victory-is-everything type. The person who might make friends with a Hero, but only for the satisfaction of stabbing him in the back at a later date. You know. The stereotypical Dark Lord. Now she's either becoming convinced that he's a Dark Lord much more following, or a much more dangerous one, than she originally thought. Or both.

'Hey, we need to talk.' Oh boy, doesn't that just sounds like the best thing ever?
