Aj Whitacre

it may come out today or tomorrow

Finnish Master

My suggestion would be that when it seems that your releases are in danger of slipping instead of trying to get to a new "natural cut off" look at what you already have and are happy with and find a suitable cut off from there.

Robrth Tapia

Does anyone know what happened with the update, has anyone said anything on discord?

We'll C RC -

I did get charged but you haven't charged us in months. You deserve something for your hard work

Edward Robson

Hey man, don't beat your self up so much, from what I see you are the most honest developer ice followed, you send out alot of updates so your followers aren't left in the dark if I got charged it would bother me, would I like to keep playing this off course but I'm willing to wait for the updates because you do great work this is by far the best game out with a great story as well

Aj Whitacre

Hey BD talked to patreon about being charged when you pause the pledges and they said anytime the creator post anything on their page, that they need to repause it again.

ButterB22

If I got charged it doesnโ€™t matter to me if Iโ€™m being completely honest with you BD. You deserve to get paid for your work no matter how much work you do or how many updates you release in a month. What matters is that you are able to do what you want in life. Keep up the great work

Scarsdale

I totally understand your situation, I'm starting a 3D printing "farm" and using a CAD program to create 3D files for my machines is time consuming and frustrating to say the least. Adding in my mild case of OCD and being self-taught just makes it worse. I know when you're done it'll be great, so take the time you need, we can wait!

Flnale

Relax. Deep breathes. I personally am not mad / angry at the delays. Life happens and sometimes we "bite off more than we can chew." Just do your best AND remember to "keep moving forward." - Walt Disney

Stephen Hyde

as some above have mentioned, maybe getting someone to help with either the final rendering or the script may help you out - i know you want to do it all yourself and i really dont blame you for that but sometimes a little help is actually a good thing, maybe you could even look at having someone post updates to patreon during the week for you so people can be better informed as to progress especially in cases like this where you have been having problems for example

Braindrop

Sent the refund your way! Sorry about that.

Doug

I was also charged

Braindrop

Just refunded you! Sorry about the issue!

Roddy Rodriguez

love the spoiler !!!

Britton

@braindrop my PayPal was charged idk how to message you directly

Ragin Cajun

My biggest suggestion...don't give any release dates until you know in your head it's firm. An example is Dr. Pink Cake (Being a DIK franchise). He gives updates and percentages and that's about it. Then he'll give a date once he knows it's firm. You, like him, make a good strong game. We aren't going anywhere but over the time I've "known you" it seems these release dates are just a burden on you.

Beautiful Duwang

Hey BP, any rough estimate on when the redo would drop? I told myself I'd stop playing each update, til the redo drops lol so just tryna see how much longer I got haha

Gotti

Keep up the work man. Thought it was just a bug saying i was charged when you said it was paused like it just said it but I wasn't actually charged at first but guess not ๐Ÿ˜‚

Shaqjor477

Ive said it before, Ill say it again, I love the game, and will continue to support you until you stop developing. Keep on keeping on!!

Eric V

Not going anywhere. Take your time. Compared to other creator you are way more dependable. So dont stress. Keep up the great work !!!!

DeadMan

I told you many times, take as much time as needed to get it right. I would prefer to wait for a game to be right than get an incomplete buggy mess just so it was on time. Right and late is better than on time and buggy.

Fluo

Quality takes time, the last thing I will do is cancel my pledges. At least you are transparent and keep in touch with us with updates.

~Chaos in Violet~

You've been pretty steady as of late. Sure things were a little delayed but they were pretty substantial updates for the most part. I think these small chunks that take forever are the real issue. Take your time, release those extra meaty updates. Bring Mckenzie back to post updates for you. I'm pretty sure most if not all will be happy if you went that route. Bigger updates that take a bit longer to release. You got this. I haven't always agreed with how the game is released but I believe in the world you're creating and want to see it to the end. Just rather you take your time, rather than have to apologize every post.

Chris Kelley

I completely understand, but just because you are working on yourself, doesn't mean you have to do it alone. A lot of times when we are working on our own issues, we end up getting in our own ways. Especially when those issues are mental in nature. But that's just my 2 cents. I really hope it all works out!

Tommy Johnson

I am a part of the Discord and i didn't tell you about it to have you refund me issues are something you have no control over and you still need an income coming in My Friend i don't mind supporting the best developers in the industry

Braindrop

Maybe that could work, I had tried something like that before and it had its positives. Though I mainly want to work on myself and fix some of the stuff causing these issues first but I'm not ruling anything out right now.

Braindrop

I'm not sure what the issue is but some people have still been getting charged. I've refunded your recent charges and I've been refunding all of the ones it shows me. Sorry about the issue. I've emailed them and am waiting on a response. For the moment I'd say to manually cancel your pledge and join the discord as all of the reports / updates will be posted there and repledge whenever I'm no longer pausing pledges.

Condatis

Please don't beat yourself up over the delays, and definitely don't let it cause you to be stressed. The level of interaction you have with us is 2nd to none, and personally I'd rather you be happy with a release, than you releasing something half assed (like other devs do) just because you had a deadline to meet.

Chris Kelley

I know writers have editors and/or publishers that try to hold them to deadlines, do you think it might having someone like that holding you to your schedule would help, rather than trying to do it all on your own? I know for me, personally, when I NEED to get something done it a certain time-frame, it helps to have someone else hold me accountable. Anyway, just a thought! Good luck, and I look forward to the next release!

Tommy Johnson

So Patreon keeps charging every month even though you say you are Pausing Pledges I have continued to pay for the last 3 months when I have herd from others that the pledges have been paused is there anything that can be done about this sense Patreon doesn't replay on it.

Snedden

I don't mind the delays I just wish you would do this more often. Just keep us in the loop so we don't just feel like we are being ghosted when ya disappear for weeks. Looking forward to the releases, can't wait to see whats happening.

Zachary McClelland

Don't beat yourself up BD. I love the game and would gladly wait and support you through every delay since I thoroughly enjoy every piece of content you give us

Florida Man

Keep up the hard work! Iโ€™m not going anywhere! The game is too good for me to abandon it now.

Oli Giele

Take your time, we love the quality of the game, so i prefer to wait to see how well it goes. Even if we need to wait two more weeks, I will continue to keep an eye on the delivery. Love your game mate! So again, take your time!!!

Jake Morrison

Thank you for another update and all the best for you as well. ๐Ÿ˜

Gabe Sanford

I waited almost a whole year for the recent BaDIK release so a few months isn't much of a wait for a good product. Don't beat yourself up too much over it
