Yeah, sudden technological advances in a society which isn't ready is bound to cause some problems. Though you've probably also seen that Corco has spent considerable effort to ready his society for this rapid progress (with the new focus of the reformed religion, wide-spread education etc.)

Honestly, it would be a great fanfic, reader reincarnates into Medala and nerds out with Corco while looking like 2 crazy people

Atomic age? You telling me if Corco wants to he can get to the atomic age soon (but not that soon)? His alleged past life must be a prodigy I swear. His past life or maybe soul dimension counterpart (isekai genre be confusing at times) must have gone to college or university at a young age involving various STEM fields. I mean Corco taught math, knows english, probably latin and greek, worked hard to make batteries to charge the tesla coils inside a faraday cage. Has biological and medical knowledge but maybe not as strong as the engineering side. I don't remember the age but might have died in his mid to late 20s in a fire to get back at his uncle from Earth. Not that it would happen, but it would be funny if there was another person there in similar if not same position as Corco and if Corco has that thought he ain't alone. In the case Corco believes there might be others like him, and just for the hell of it lures those people. Like sending out signs or something in english or in various Earth language "If you understand this Come to Saniya/Madela". Also, with others like Corco, it would be funny seeing the interaction and with it a weird sense of familiarity. Like talking to each other informally to the surprise of Corco’s allies like Fadelio, Sumaci, and others. All they hear is gibberish nerd stuff and them geeking out to each other. They can be a great brain gain asset.

What Corco said about introducing a bunch of new technology is pretty interesting. Not the part about it stunting his kingdom, though. The determination for if his kingdom will continue to make technological progress depends not on where technological progress has historically come from, but on whether or not the country's systems are structured in such a way to support such efforts. People will always be looking for new ways to improve their own lives. Being given a significant boost by the king won't satisfy that desire. And people will find new ways or moving forward, as long as they are allowed to do so. The more interesting thing to me was the idea of causing a bunch of problems by dumping in a bunch of technology all at once. It kind of reminds me of the idea of a forest. It is a complex ecosystem, with an enormous number of moving parts to it. If you attempt to do one thing, like grow an excessive number of trees, you are liable to throw the entire system out of balance. Just like how Corco risks throwing his society out of balance should he push things too fast. What he said about the advantage against foreign nations is also pretty reasonable. But in terms of war, while he still wins, no matter of he has a large or massive tech advantage, the less of an advantage, the more bodies he needs to fill the gap. A loss that probably won't cost him much, in the grand scheme of things. Normally, it would be something quite concerning to him. I guess he has just manage to balance short and long term interests here.
