a bit of a chat about the flip dot plan!

Did you try de-soldering with a solder pot. Maybe make a custom overflow type that de-solders a section at a time. I stumbled on this video of one that with the right shape may do the trick without damaging the components. https://youtu.be/ZV_5tLEbiVo

I can imagine you could use it as core memory yes. Issue is it would be hard with the circuitry they are wired to already. But might be possible interesting idea. I am planning on making a core memory delay pedal. Flip dot delay pedal hahaha

Can you only write to these to set a bit, or can you also read the state? (As in "it can act as a tiny memory")
