namely a brain fart, I mention that as the plan at the start of the vid, then forgetting ha. however I feel aesthetically im glad I added the gusset part as it looks a bit cooler now :D

This is going to be epic. Can you share the model of the high voltage power supply you are using for your Nixies? Where did you get it?
Is there a reason you didn't print the part with the front face facing down? This would have solved your snapping issue without additional supports.
