Yeah, 11 feet tall and built like a brick wall at 12, able to devote more attention to 12 different topics than 12 people can devote to one. And his adoptive father father dies right around the age he would have been told anyway. And Guilli-mom knew no human woman could take that and live anyway.

Yeah, not sure how old he was when his adoptive father died, and if things were focused on war and politics, his size difference between base humans probably made it a non issue.
