What A Cartoon! - Tom Goes to the Mayor "Bear Traps / Surprise Party"
🕑 Added 2019-03-18 04:00:59 +0000 UTCBack in 2004, comedy legend Bob Odenkirk teamed up with newcomers Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim to create Tom Goes to the Mayor: a surreal and polarizing satire of strip-mall America that launched the now-famous comedy duo's prolific careers. In this 30-episode series, a wimpy entrepreneur with more persistence than intelligence teams up with an unhinged mayor to execute his impractical plans, which often (if not always) end up ruining his life. And thanks to the generous contributions of patron Phillip Jacobi, we'll be giving two of its hilarious episodes our What A Cartoon! treatment. So grab some big cups and your Gulliver's Lunch-Flavored Trough-Style Trough Lunch and get ready to explore the twisted city of Jefferton!

I love that Henry is into On Cinema and was able to kind of explain what it is to Bob in a pretty coherent manner. I find immense difficulty showing it to friends because of the slow burn start and and it’s... high concept premise, especially if they aren’t already with Tim’s work. Also I hear that the next season of Decker is animated :D

If I may, guv’ner, what’s the big whoop about Mr. Show? I didn’t grow up with it so I don’t understand the hype. Was it the Uncharted 3 of sketch comedy shows?
