🕑 Added 2019-05-17 07:00:02 +0000 UTCWhen Hank decides to cancel Dale's two-dollar fumigation services to save his lawn, his so-called best friend sabotages the Hill yard by releasing some destructive fire ants. And if that wasn't bad enough, the highly suggestible Bobby finds himself under the spell of the queen ant and her hypnotizing pheromones. Will Hank be able to mend his friendship with Dale and save his yard, or at the very least his son? Learn the answers to these questions and how L. Ron Hubbard really died by listening to this week's podcast!

I find it absurd that Hank and the other guys even have riding mowers for such relatively tiny yards. It is massive overkill, I had a yard about that size and mowed it with a push mower and it was fine.

For Hank's lawn, Hank mentions to John Redcorn in "Spin the Choice", the Hill property is 1/8 of an acre. If their house takes up even half of their lot, that St. Augustine for $1.25/sqft would have been upwards of $3400, $5330+ in today's dollars. Also, sadly, "Dog Dale Afternoon" doesn't happen until Season 3. Same with the episode with Kahn losing his job.

Covertly shaking something out of a pantleg is a reference to the 60s film The Great Escape. That method was used in the Shawshank Redemption probably as an homage.
