The Talking Simpsons Network Schedule is Changing in 2022!
🕑 Added 2021-12-01 19:01:02 +0000 UTCHey folks,
If you've listened to November's episode of Talk to the Audience?!?, then you've already heard about our upcoming plans for 2022. If you haven't, here's a breakdown of what we talk about in this little audio update:
The main points:
- What a Cartoon will now be a monthly podcast.
- TalKing of the Hill will now be a monthly Patreon-exclusive miniseries, joining Talking Futurama as our second monthly exclusive podcast.
- Talking Simpsons and What A Cartoon Movie will retain their current schedules.
- We haven't decided on what form the Fall 2022 miniseries will take, but it's still in the works and we'll keep you updated.
Here's the 2022 posting schedule for $5 and up patrons:
- What A Cartoon will post on the first Monday of every month.
- Talking Futurama will stay on the second Monday of every month.
- TalKing of the Hill will post on the final Friday of every month.
- What A Cartoon Movie (and the extended free preview) will stay on the final Monday of each month.
- Talking Simpsons and Talk to the Audience?!? will continue to post on Wednesdays.
Here's the 2022 posting schedule for non-patrons:
- The extended free preview of What A Cartoon movie will stay on the first Monday of every month.
- What a Cartoon will post on the second Monday of every month.
- Talking Simpsons and Talk to the Audience?!? will continue to post on Wednesdays.
That's all there is to it! Listen to the embedded podcast for more details, and feel free to leave any questions below. Thanks as always for your support!

Apart from providing you better work-life balance, the scheduling change should also give the podcast more longevity. I would much prefer well-researched deep dive WAC episodes spaced out over a longer period of time than hastily researched episodes produced to fit an arbitrary schedule (not that you do this now). Looking forward to the great things to come!

I always listen to the end of all of them? I don't know why someone wouldn't?

It is interesting to see how different people listen to the show. I almost always listen to the end of the episode, but some people check out after about an hour.

It's weird to hear so many people don't listen to specific episodes because I listen to all of them even ones that I'm not initially interested in like Batman (which turned out to be cool).
I'm cool with this. The only episodes I don't listen to are the Simpsons ones.

No problem with the changes here! I'm still catching up on the past couple months' movie episodes and Batman stuff anyway so whatever works for you guys is cool with me

Since What a Cartoon is my favorite podcast you guys do I must say I’m bummed it’s only going to monthly now. :(

Honestly, how long has it been y’all doing What A Cartoon? You have soooo many episodes under your belts already, and you work hard on Simpsons and Cartoons alone (and other podcasts), I’m happy for this. I’m excited for more King of the Hill too.

DUCKMAN DUCKMAN DUCKMAN You could call it ‘TalKing Chicken’ and everything.

Try to dress it up as a crowd pleasing move to more TalKing of the Hill all you want, this is just a long con to enable the Duckman miniseries! … I mean, I’d like that, but it’s the principle of the thing.

I support you guys adjusting your schedule to better fit your lives! Since you said that What a Cartoon isn't as popular as your other shows, I just wanted to express that I'm a Patreon supporter solely for WaC. I'll continue to support as long as you're still producing it.

My only complaint is now I wish What a Cartoon had "talk" in it's name now, cause it doesn't match XD.
