The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 12/July/2019
🕑 Added 2019-07-12 15:53:22 +0000 UTCSo as some of you may have seen, Chapter 13 has turned into a bit of a bigger chapter than planned :D
It was supposed to be a more of a linear info/friend sort of scene, but has instead morphed into something with varying scenes at the beginning, then a split LI scene which has two slight versions of each depending on a very small dialogue choice from the early chapters, as well as a varying scene after that based on a choice made a couple of chapters back...
Yeah, I really need to rein my brain in when it comes to writing, hehe!
But saying that, I'm so, so happy with how it's coming out! The unplanned stuff was actually a surprise to even me, and just kinda came out as I started writing. But it felt so organic and natural to the flow that it just HAD to go in once I started.
And even with all of that added, I should be able to get it finished tomorrow! So major whoo for that!
I will definitely be starting Chapter 14 next week!
So yeah, a great and exciting writing week :D

For Update+ this week, I wanted to share a little bit from Adam/Ava's small split scene, the version that's decided by the small dialogue choice...which choice that is may become obvious after reading this :D
I lean forward on my desk with pride as my plane continues to soar through the air…before smacking into the very solid chest of ${adam} now blocking the doorway.
"Oh come on," ${felix} bemoans. "You messed up a really good glide."
$!{adam}'s gaze drops to the paper airplane at ${a_his} feet, then slowly draws back up to meet my eyes.

The plane crashes into A, who just stepped into the doorway. F: "Well, that was just plane rude." A slowly drags their gaze to F and glares. F: "Guess that joke didn't land well. I was just wingin' it, after all." A shakes their head and walks back out the door, completely forgetting what they went in there for. F: "Man, they took off fast!" A: "Shut up!"
