Also, in the end when kirito was telling Sinon to think of the people she saved on the day she had to end another, he was also talking to himself as you can see him get emotional. He has been struggling with the fact he killed people in SAO, but now sees he saved other people by doing so, kind of being put in the same situation as Sinon.

The upcoming arc is gonna be a filler arc. It's only 3 episodes long and not the most exhilirating watch. The whole arc is pretty much just for If you want to see the whole party in action for once (kirito and his friends), no plot related stuff.
