hey joao, i actually tried using an EQ as cabinet an try to emulate the alien tone and i think i came pretty close, i used the fortin nameless and did low pass at around 3K and a REALLY deep scoop at around 450-500 ish and it def has the same characteristics, it juist needs alot of small eq moves to match the real tone

Woooah Gullfoss on the DI sounds like a great idea for a certain kind of hifi tone. Very interesting Garret thanks for sharing. I might try this!

Joao! I found an interesting trick yesterday. I have a guitar with some BKP Ragnaroks, which always sounded a bit muddy to me. I put Gullfoss on the DI at 50% and adjust the brightness to taste. Also have to back off quite heavily on the tone knob for the overdrive pedals, but it worked wonders for my DI! I'd love to see your take on this. Cheers!
