Big Updates for 2025 :)
🕑 Added 2025-01-13 21:01:47 +0000 UTCAs social media becomes more disjointed and filled with reaction+outrage content, Daniella and I are more determined to offer considered analysis of fashion as an art form.
2024 was one of the biggest periods of change for our channel. We spent a LOT of time discussing what kind of fashion critics we want to become. There’s 2 major changes.
1. We’re releasing better videos less often. We want every video we release on YouTube to be the highest possible quality. Our top priorities are ample time for research, exploration, and solid writing. When you give us the privilege of your time, we want to earn it with every video. Patreon will continue to be where we give you a ton of extra content and special projects that are only meant for our paying audience :)
2. We’re taking on more big projects. I’m thrilled to say we’ll soon be in Berlin for Fashion Week to give more voice to young, undiscovered designers. There’s 2 more massive projects in the works for 2025, but we can’t fully speak on those projects yet :)
We’re doing our best to maximize a limited budget. We're so thankful for every single one of you for supporting this vision financially.
What are some massive projects you want to see us do? We always love suggestions!

Sorry, I take it back, I found the video and I'll admit I forgot about it. With this megavideo format, I usually either watch it in something like ten sit-downs or save it for later and then struggle to find time to watch it until it gets buried in the "watch later" pile. And that's what happened with the PFW, which is such a bummer because I see how much work it took you, so I'm ashamed, I'm going to correct my mistakes now :)

I 100% see why ! Hopefully soon you will have to only say no to 98% of the opportunities you want to do ! Only wishing growth and prosperity to yall !

Release once every three weeks is the goal, but based on the recent 2 months, we're still sorting things out. We released 3 videos in a row quite quickly and haven't uploaded since haha. Much of that inconsistency comes from working on massive projects that require hundreds of hours of work with smaller videos that only require a few dozen hours. Hopefully we'll have that consistency air-tight soon 💫💫

Thank you for the feedback. I'm a bit confused and would love you to elaborate. Our last Paris Fashion Week video went into the deepest detail we have ever explored. The Balenciaga segment, the ERD segment, the Lauren Manoogian segment etc. I feel like I may be misunderstanding your feedback, but I want to understand. Would you please elaborate? :)

We wish we could cover more small cities and their fashion weeks. There's certainly a wealth of talent in Montreal and elsewhere. The reality is that our time and our money is extremely limited. We already spend over 2 months abroad each year just to cover PFW. The last time we covered any other FW was nearly 2 years ago when we were last in Berlin. Most fashion media is terrible because they have no focus. They want to cover everything, so then end up covering nothing with the respect it deserves. Daniella and I strongly believe that in order to offer the highest quality possible, we have to say "no" to 99% of the opportunities we want to say "yes" to. 💫💫

This all sounds amazing ! I think everyone who follows you understands the tradeoff of quality over quantity and you provide both ! I would love to see the Fashion Week videos you do but in even smaller cities, for example Montreal, it is currently booming with so many creatives ! Kind regards to you Bliss and Daniella.

I'm kind of missing good ol runway reviews where you would talk about all the ideas and symbolism that went into the collection and particular garments

Great to hear. Do you have a general schedule for youtube uploads?
Bliss Foster
The Patreon will have at least one exclusive video each month, yes 🙌 You’ll have a new questions video (featuring Daniella!) near the end of January! 💫💫

Thanks for the heads up BD. I would suggest that your integrities have got you to where you are now so trust your instincts with the evolution of our patreon channel. We will lovingly let you know if standards slip :)

In a world where creators want to get the most out as fast as possible, I can only describe you and Daniella as noble. 😊 Do you plan on uploading around once a month, or is there no set schedule?

Honestly, anything you have put out last year was already smashing it, you are doing incredible, invaluable work for us all. I cannot wait to see what we will get to see this year!

The best massive project you can do is one I can’t think of. I am sure you will surprise us!

Love this. One thing--I don't know how massive it would be--is to go inside textile mills and see how some of these extraordinary materials are made. And I'm really curious about how technology, including AI, is impacting production throughout the industry.
