Your Hands' Favorite Clothes - Akris Fall 2025 Full Interview
🕑 Added 2025-03-21 17:18:56 +0000 UTCWhat is your favorite garment that you own based solely on the way it feels?
Albert Kreimler designs with this in mind first. I was thrilled to be able to visit the Akris Parisian headquarters the day before the new runway show to experience the clothes the way I was intended to: with my hands (they unfortunately don't make clothes big enough for me).
I consider my visits to Akris part of my continuing education in fashion. I'm always so grateful for how generous Albert is with information.
Enjoy!

This was lovely, so in-depth and intimate, I really got a sense of the fabrics and how they'll move. And such good cutting! All of the 'simple' pieces have such a good edge to them, the kind of thing a non-fashion person would think is just a blue shirt, but if you know... Perfect. Looking at my navy Jaeger skirt with renewed love and wishing for a deconstructed short trench to match!

There was something about hearing all of his little "autant"s that was so endearing. Very father/grandfatherly.

Wonderful!! When I watch stuff like this, I get a weird pain in my solar plexus about never being able to own and wear these items. Bliss seems to be able to see it as art that is enjoyable in itself, without possessing it, which I somehow can't do.

What a treat to go through his collection but also to understand his sense of design and commitment to superb textiles. I thought he was retiring? Bravo for making this video!
