Improved Kobolds for D&D!
🕑 Added 2025-09-16 15:00:10 +0000 UTCTucker's Kobolds is an iconic article from Dragon Magazine #127, a story about a high level D&D party that wanted to do everything to avoid the kobolds on level one of their dungeon. But how do you make your own kobolds inspire that kind of fear? You use traps!
These statblocks are compatible with the 2024 SRD Obsidian vault, installation guide here. But I've also included screenshots of all the statblocks if you prefer to get them as images.
I still haven't quite worked out how best to do these in PDF form, but I'll get there and when I do, I'll compile all the statblocks from the Mystic Monsters series into a big PDF.
Until then, use these kobolds against your poor party and watch them beg for mercy!

The Wyvern and Swarm of Insects are in the SRD and Monster Manual, so I figured we didn't need to take pictures of them as much since most people have them, the .md files are just for Obsidian convenience. I will make a PDF collating everything eventually, but I gotta figure out how to do statblocks in PDF first!

This is great! Could we perhaps get all the statblocks collated in one file? EDIT: also it looks like thereβs no PNGs for the wyverns or the swarm of insects?

Have you seen the Kobolds, from Kobolds Press Tome of Beats ? They are pretty great
