The Angels are Angels. We can assume either the humanoid angels often depicted in art or biblically accurate angels, which are nightmare fuel. Personally, i'm hoping for the latter.

In the anime, Laplis did kill Roy in the woods, in the book however he was killed in the palace.

The conversations are going on DURING Walpurgis which lasted for several days if I remember correctly. Roy left right after Clayman died, and Luminous left shortly after Rimuru stuck around till the end. That was explained last episode.

It's implied Yuki had something to do with it, since he was the only one who knew that Rimuru says he's Japanese and could take a human form because he ate Shizu.
