The worst part is, the Shattered Glass episode was originally planned for Season 3, but when Hasbro/Cartoon Network insisted that Tranwarped be made into a three-parter and Human Nature be made into a two-parter, there wasn't room for it.

There's a lot of rumors and misinformation about the planned 4th Season, but here is what we know for sure. 1. It would've been 16 episodes, like Season 1, and it would've opened with a 3 part special called The Trial of Megatron. 2. At the end of the special, Megatron would've led a mass breakout and led his new army to Earth to take revenge on Optimus. He also would've undergone a procedure to become a Triple-Changer. 3. Megatron's obsession with Optimus, plus the emotional instability caused by his new powers, would've driven him completely insane, causing even Lugnut and Shockwave to abandon him. Some speculate that Slipstream (Lady Starscream) would've become the new leader of the Decepticons, but that might be wishful thinking. 4. Jazz was confirmed to be joining Team Prime. There was talk about Ironhide also joining the main cast, but nothing was 100%. 5. Prowl and probably Starscream would've returned as Allspark ghosts. 6. There was supposed to be a subplot involving Blackarachnia and Waspinator building their own Predacon army, which supposedly would've included Inferno. 7. Rattletrap and Cliffjumper were supposed to get character focused episodes, and there was supposed to be an episode where Sari and Bulkhead travel to a parallel universe were the Autobots and Decepticons swap roles. 8. Bulkhead was supposedly going to combine with the Constructicons to form Devastator, maybe. 9. Arcee was supposed to become a mother figure for Sari. 10. There were going to be new human supervillains, including a team of Steampunk themed anti-machinists. I think that's everything.
