I feel like Kyoya is talking about his pride as a blader being his strength gained on his own rather through relying on others like Aguma is implying.

I don't really think it's regression. The guy was saying Kyoya relied on others to get this far which is untrue and an insult to Kyoya's pride. He prides himself on gaining his power in his own way and on his own. I agree he's been a part of reams before but I wouldn't say they helped him get this far.

This is true but I look at it differently. When he speaks this way, it's about relying on his own power rather than the power of friendship. He's very proud and saying he relies on others is an insult in his eyes. Plus, he gained this power himself.

Ever since season 1 Kyoya has been apart of Gingka's group, sure he leaves time to time but he always comes back and travels with them.

Great pair of episodes, i believe the next 2 or 3 will explain why certain bladers got the Star Fragment, the origin of nemesis and so on. Kyoya is my favourite character, but this arc confuses me, like yeah your a loner but you joined the group to find these Legendary Bladers, wouldn't you do what Ryuga did and try finding them by yourself?
