I care more about the cool moments, hype fights, and awesome characters, but being able to follow it a bit would be nice. I'm just trying to familiarize myself with the terms.

Yeah, the Gate Cards is the names for all the cards that are on th ground. Character card doubles the power of a certain Bakugan (Drago for example, or some generic Bakus). Reactor cards boosts the power of a certain attribute (like in the 1st ep the desert spawned, it was Subterra Reactor). Traps and Commands are gonna be explained later

They are NOT making this easy. LMAO. They called it gate cards first , and now it's calling it different names. XD I get it's because of different effects of a gate card, but they could have called it Character Gate Card, command gate card, etc. XD

Character card, command card, trap card etc are all Gate Cards, just have different uses, and u can't use 3 character cards, for example, at the time, one of each. You will get it soon
