*I've noticed that I frequently get video requests for topics that can be addressed with a short answer of a minute or so (which doesn't work for long-form videos of 15 to 20 minutes), or for topics that I already have videos about. So, if your video idea seems like it's being ignored, that's probably why. Remember, if you have a burning question, you can always pop into a live stream; I do my best to get to all the questions I'm asked there.

I have a video on backstories from a few months ago. It walks through how I get players to create backstories that are useful for both them and the GM.

How do you get players to create goals and interesting backstories? My players have goals like "I just wanna get out of town" and "I just want to explore!" Not much to tie a plotline into.
