Limitless Path Chapter Three Hundred Fifty-Two

They fought again, after resetting the training floor, clashing again head-on. Beth could tell, even though they hadn't discussed their skills very much, that Sera was just beyond her level in Swords with her Spears skill. Beth was only at Expert[1] right now with Swords, though she should be improving soon, which would put Sera at Expert[2]. It made even more sense, then, why Sera really struggled when Beth started throwing in her Expert[2] Unarmed to the mix.
Beth went a bit slower this time, hoping to draw more out of Sera with the second match. She led this time as well, though it was a bit of a strange way to lead as she was only ever doing just enough to push Sera to the point where she needed to introduce a new skill. Sera would introduce something new, Beth would respond with a new skill, slowly pushing harder until Sera really needed more skills or abilities to deal with Beth. The one advantage Sera had, to an extent, was that she did have a few more skills than Beth did. That wasn't super helpful, as Beth's skills were of a higher level, and her stats were equal or just slightly higher. Sera having two more fancy ways to manipulate her spear than what Beth could do with sword and fist didn't mean much when Beth could still just overwhelm her with greater power.
"I can't believe you beat me so thoroughly," Sera panted from the ground after her fifth loss in a row. "It wasn't even fucking close."
Beth walked over and plopped down in her lap, Sera making her spear disappear and sitting up to put her arms around Beth. "I'm just a little bit strong for my level," Beth explained with a shrug. "I don't think it's that crazy."
"I think you have a warped perspective," Sera said with a small laugh. "I'm considered strong for my level and age and you wiped the floor with me. I think you're absolutely crazy for your level and age."
"Well, I have met quite a few people who would either challenge me or could just beat me already," Beth said hesitantly.
"Power attracts power," Sera said like some kind of wise sage, for which Beth bumped her nose.
"Seriously, I’m not that impressive," Beth tried to defend herself.
"Compared to who?" Sera asked in a scolding tone.
"Well, there was Veren, and-" Beth started.
"Who?" Sera asked.
"Norveren-" Beth started.
"Norveren Adare? The Young Blade King?" Sera interrupted again.
"Uh…yes?" Beth said hesitantly, having to look up Veren's contact details on her communicator.
"Blood's right, you really are kinda dumb," Sera said.
"Hey, that's fucking rude," Beth said, elbowing Sera.
"Well, you're just…unaware?" Sera said with a bit of a frown, pondering deeply.
"Thanks. I love you both just oh so much," Beth said, elbowing her again.
"Beth, Norveren Adare, while not widely known, is one of the best young swordsmen in the entire Milky Way Galaxy. He's not even thirty yet, objective time, and he's already an acknowledged Master," Sera explained.
"Grandmaster," Beth said.
"What?" Sera asked, confused.
"He's a Grandmaster," Beth said.
"How…how could you possibly know that?" Sera asked, voice full of trepidation.
"Uh, well, so, uh, he might have fought Blood and I, and, uh, he might have achieved Grandmaster by doing it," Beth explained. "But don't worry, he owes me a favor because of it."
"Beth," Sera said.
"Yes?" Beth asked.
Sera just put her head against Beth's shoulder and said, "Beth."
"What?!" Beth demanded.
"You fought…one of the greatest swordsmen our galaxy has ever produced…and pushed him to Grandmaster…and you're just casually telling me about it like it's normal," Sera ground out, Beth making her armor disappear so Sera could grind her face into Beth's shoulder.
"I mean, he forced me to use an item that evolved my skill to Platinum to keep up with him," Beth said. "So, he definitely owes me."
"Beth."
"Yes?"
"Please, shut the fuck up."
"Again, rude," Beth said.
"I said please," Sera replied.
"I don't want to do any more fighting today, surprisingly," Beth muttered, standing up and picking Sera up with her.
"Armor," Sera commented, and Beth made the rest of hers disappear, leaving her in her sweaty CRA clothes. Sera easily made all her stuff disappear, leaving herself naked instead of in sweaty clothes.
"Do you care if I carry you back like this?" Beth asked as she checked out of the training room.
"Nope," Sera said. "Most people here have already seen it a bunch."
"As long as you don't mind," Beth said with a shrug, walking up through arena building with the dragon in her arms.
Nobody even batted an eye the whole way back to their suite, other than a few people being distracted by just how good-looking Sera was; considering how at least one person in each of those groups was fully naked themselves, Beth assumed it was Sera’s looks and not nudity that was causing the head-turning. She entered the suite with Sera in her arms, her head on Beth's shoulder and her tail curled around Beth. She immediately saw Blood on the couch with Tasha laying in her arms, the two kissing, Blood glancing over out of the corner of her eye to make sure it was Beth.
"Good to see you two having fun," Beth said, shutting the door behind them.
"How was it?" Blood asked as they came up for air.
"She has a sweet tooth," Beth said, lifting Sera up a little to indicate that was who she was referring to.
"Good to know," Blood said with a grin.
"And she's not quite as strong as we are, but she's close," Beth said.
"Well, you're stronger, so maybe she could keep up with me," Blood said.
"Well, we don't know because you'd rather lay on the couch," Beth scoffed, though there was no real heat in her voice.
"It was much more enjoyable," Blood said.
"I can vouch for that," Tasha added, backing the wolf up.
"We're gonna shower and bathe, if you two wanna join?" Beth said in a questioning tone.
"Yep," Blood said, standing with Tasha in her arms.
"Funny how the smallest and biggest like getting carried," the little demoness commented as they walked into the bathroom.
"It's comfortable," Sera protested as Beth set her on her feet in the shower.
"I'm not going to argue," Tasha said with a laugh.
They showered off, with Beth spending time washing Sera slowly and thoroughly. She was enjoying the process more and more, especially cleaning Sera's thick, strong scales slowly and carefully. Sera also really enjoyed it, if her little moans and how much she was touching Beth and caressing her in response were any indication. They took much longer than Blood and Tasha, but they eventually joined them in the tub.
"Aren't you two cute?" Tasha asked with a grin.
"I'm not cute," Beth said with a slight frown as she slipped into Sera's lap across from Tasha and Blood.
"You are cute," Sera said, poking her cheek before Beth swatted her hand away. "And very, very pretty."
"Stop. You know that's not true," Beth grumbled.
"She has a hard time taking a compliment," Blood explained sagely.
"I don't need comments from you, either," Beth grumbled, pointing at Blood, though she was quickly distracted by Sera's hands running over her body under the water.
"I see the problem," Tasha said, leaning back and giving Blood a look.
"Hmm…problem?" Beth asked distractedly.
"She is one of those types," Sera agreed.
"Wha…?" Beth tried to ask again.
"You're way too hard on yourself, Beth," Blood answered, shaking her head.
"Nah, I know what I'm talking about," Beth answered, stopping Sera's wandering hands for a moment.
"Stop," Sera said with a chuckling, escaping Beth's grasp and poking her cheek.
"I won't stop," Beth said grumpily, sinking down in Sera's lap.
"So, how was the spar?" Blood asked, deciding to be a bit merciful.
"She's good," Beth replied right away. "Spear user, long reach, fast attacks, good defense. Could use some work on her speed."
"Expert?" Blood asked.
"Expert[2]," Sera answered.
"That's what it felt like," Beth nodded.
"And you," Sera said, poking Beth's cheek again lightly with a long, black claw. "You're Expert in both Swords and Unarmed, right?"
"Yep," Beth nodded.
"Wait, wait, wait," Tasha interjected, holding up a hand. "How the fuck old are you?"
"Objectively? Twenty, roughly. Subjectively, About thirty-four? Something like that?" Beth replied, tapping her chin.
"And you, at most being counted as being thirty-four, are Expert in not one but two weaponskills?" Tasha asked, the note of incredulity clear in her voice.
"We've worked hard," Beth answered with a shrug, as if that explained it all.
"I'll say," Tasha muttered, shaking her head a bit.
After another few minutes in the tub, the four of them got out and dried off. It was still a bit early in the day, just a bit after lunchtime really, and their next order of business was food. Beth got to see the other girls' preferential treatment here for being workers, as they went a short way down the hall and down a set of stairs to arrive at a small, corner restaurant. Sera and Tasha ordered quite a bit of food and paid not a single cent, whereas the bill for Beth and Blood was a bit pricey.
After that it was time…to do nothing for a while. Beth was finally, after so long, able to allow herself to relax just a little bit, laying on the couch intertwined with Sera with Blood and Tasha beside them. They did have to suffer through some more terrible programming that Blood put on the wallscreen, but Tasha also seemed to enjoy it, so Beth didn't complain. At least, not too much.
When it started to get a bit late, Sera stood up and carried Beth for once, heading outside to slip into the pool and watch the sun set from the edge of the balcony in the water. As the sun finished setting, Beth took hold of Sera and dragged her through the water and into the hot tub, which had an outlet that let water fall from it down into the larger pool. Beth held Sera easily with one arm and climbed up into the hot tub from the pool with the other, vaulting the brick edge and slipping into the hot water.
"Does the pool have some kind of cooling?" Beth asked in surprise.
"Hmm, I think so?" Sera responded, unsure.
"It's just, this water is so fucking hot," Beth mumbled, settling into the water and pulling Sera into her lap. "Even if only a small amount is flowing into the pool, it should be hotter than it is."
"Uh, I think so?" Sera said. "I'm not really an enchanter or engineer, so I don't really know."
"What profession do you do?" asked Beth curiously.
"The best profession; smithing," Sera replied with a nod.
Beth leaned forward just a slight amount to give Sera a big kiss, breaking it off and saying, "I knew you were a woman after my own heart."
"Oh, you're a smith too?" Sera asked with a big grin.
"Only in Journeyman still, but yep," Beth nodded, getting a shower of kisses from Sera in response.
"I can't believe, after years here, I literally stumbled into somebody randomly that matches me so well," Sera said, hugging Beth tight.
"It doesn't bother you at all? This…thing between us or whatever?" Beth asked, a bit nervous.
"Dragons mate for life, and we live long, long lives," Sera said. "Despite that, we're often quite sure of our mate quite easily. I could already see spending my life with you, despite only knowing you a few days."
"Well, I, uh, thanks…" Beth said, looking down with her face reddening far more than the heat should have led to.
"You're so cute," Sera said, kissing her warmly.
"'m not cute," Beth replied grumpily, grumbling even as Sera kissed her firmly.
They spent some time in the hot tub before sliding back down into the pool, which was remarkably cool by comparison. Beth floated in the water while Sera easily stood on the bottom with her head and shoulders above the water line and lightly caressed her. They spent a little more time like that before climbing out, Sera using her flames, which she could summon without her breath, to dry them off. They entered the main room to find it empty, Tasha and Blood having clearly claimed one of the bedrooms for the night to get busy.
Beth once again picked Sera up, really enjoying carrying the tall woman around, moving into the bedroom they had been using the last couple nights. Sera shut the door behind them with her tail again, Beth always amazed at just how skilled the dragon woman was with the appendage. She didn't set Sera down on the bed but just climbed up into bed while still carrying the dragon in her arms. Sera's tail wrapped around her tightly as Beth set her down, following right after and nuzzling against Sera's collar bone while their bodies were pressed together. Beth moved down slowly, making sure to drag her body against Sera's as she did so, reveling in the feeling of her breasts pressing against Sera's stomach and then upper thighs. She kissed across Sera's abs slowly, kissing every single outstanding muscle firmly before moving on.
She didn't bother kissing down Sera's legs today but went right in for the kill, getting a big moan out of Sera in the process. She spent plenty of time working her tongue lightly before sucking more aggressively, getting a very positive reaction that culminated in a massive rush of fluids. Beth didn't let up, but continued on, pushing Sera through half a dozen big rushes before letting up. The dragon woman wasn't going to let that stand, rolling on top of Beth and starting to kiss her everywhere. She moved south quickly, grabbing Beth by the hips and lifting her butt into the air, Beth wrapping her legs around Sera's shoulders as she went to work, the angle providing her more access. It didn't take very long for Beth to hit her climax, the first of many Sera took her through, almost as if retaliating for Beth's earlier efforts.
Eventually, Beth collapsed back down, moaning happily as Sera slowly climbed up from between her legs, dragging her massive boobs across Beth's body as she did so. She took some time to make out with Beth, their tastes intermingling pleasantly before nuzzling against Beth and passing out sprawled on top of her. Beth felt plenty of pleasant squishing happening, Sera's warm body fully on top of her and the dragon starting to snore deeply in only a moment. Beth wrapped her arms around Sera's thick waist, grabbing the top of her massive butt before drifting off to sleep.

Not that Sera would allow them to spend much time out of contact of course lmao. Dragons are historically possessive of their treasures.

I also appreciate her having someone who is aware of how the path works in a more generational context. Them splitting up for a period of time doesn't give me the same anxiety that her previous relationship did because I know that Sera already sees that as a normal consequence of being on the path. Looking forward to when Sera's contract ends and she can travel with them ❤️

I foresee a very awkward introduction to the family. Beth, "Hey everyone, meet my girlfriend Sera." Mom, "Oh, how did you two meet?" Beth, "She was working at a resort where Blood and I took a vacation." Sera, "As a prostitute!" Family, "..."

Thanks for the chapter! Seems like this might end up turning into a serious relationship, nice. And I've got to say, "I met her in a brothel" is quite a interesting story to tell when asked how you first met your girlfriend...
