Actualol Meetup - Postponed Indefinitely
🕑 Added 2024-03-17 03:33:58 +0000 UTCJust an update on the idea of an Actualol Meetup. I've decided it's not practical at the moment. I had originally wanted to host an event to celebrate hitting 100K subscribers but in every other way it feels like bad timing.
I'm currently averaging a few hours of sleep a night with the baby, and I think it's better to save my time and energy for new videos that all the patrons can enjoy. Organising an event feels like an over stretch. For example, I'm turning 40 this summer and I haven't found time to plan anything for it.
And after speaking with the venue people, it was more expensive than I'd expected, even after selling tickets. It would be doable another time but I need to be more cautious with Serena on maternity leave.
I'm sorry to disappoint those of you who were hoping to come. I'll look to try again in the future.
In better news, I'm hopeful in finding a video editor to help speed things up in the future.

I love babies screaming during a game and toddlers throwing game pieces....when they're not my games. Adds a touch of realism. If you fall asleep mid turn and wake up an hour later like not even a second passed and resume your turn...I've been at that baby-affected sort of game as well. It's a nice break for everyone to find a beer and a snack.
