Yeah, I think the songs Clara Bow and Nothing New are derived from the phrase “the next TS” because imagine how hurtful it would feel for Taylor when she is still very much relevant and then when people say things like that, it likely makes her feel like she’s getting “kicked out” and the industry is trying to move on I’m younger myself (25) so I may be wrong, but I feel like before when people would say “that person is the next (blank)” the person they are referring to is either retired from music or dead, so it’s not offensive to say that, but with Taylor she is still actively making music and touring

Loved this! Can’t wait for more Gracie reactions. I hate saying things like, “She’s the next Taylor Swift” since Clara Bow and Nothing New also, but I feel completely comfortable saying I think Gracie shares a very similar writing style and the content of their music is similar as well. So ready for the next GA album drop!

For me, the "next TS" is clearly Olivia Rodrigo. I say this because the way she tells her story really reminds me of the young Taylor — the one who wrote a whole album called Speak Now. The vibe feels so similar to me... well, it's just my opinion.
