it was kind of a shopping cart system where the longer it gets and the more complex the sound design (dialogue only; or with sfx; or complete design sfx + bgm, etc), the greater the price -- but it was all modular, so you could always see the price (no private quoting). it has been a while since i did commissioned work, so i will have to re-evaluate if that same system is sustainable for me. I'm actively juggling mental health shenanigans with creative process and output, so commissions add complexity to the balance, and the final execution is yet to be determined. hope that answers!

oh ok. makes sense. typically how much do you plan to price them based on the genre, how long it takes, any specific characters or stuff like that would base it off the pricing?

great question! commissions typically are public by default (but the person who commissions the work always remains confidential). any PII is scrubbed (names, locations, etc). but i also provided a premium option for exclusivity (person commissioning would own the work and it never gets published anywhere).
