Since she's not a secret badass jobs like "FBI Hostage Rescue Operator" or "Pro Kickboxer, but there are also nunchucks" really don't fit.
Our big industries here are tech, legal, finance, and tourism, but none of those seem terribly interesting from a narrative point of view.

Cryptid blogger is not a real profession. However, given how many of them show up in and around the San Francisco Bay in this universe, one could argue that it is in fact a real profession. Or at least a hobby for somebody in the tech field.

Tech support is a possibility. If she's forced to wear a miniskirt uniform that's an easy way to get a lot of panty shots. Plus, everybody has computer trouble so it's an easy way to insert her in randomly.
