They did us dirty introducing Lynda as a potential new companion like that (maybe I could join you?) then "killing" Rose basically in the next scene. I was like you, "wait, did we just lose Rose and get a replacement companion?" I was so relieved to see Rose actually did survive that.

This episode is so intense, it was also fun realising you didn't know it was a two-parter! The concern for Rose is real, I don't remember watching this for the first time but I have watched my friends see it for the first time and no one can be sure until the end that shes alive, it makes for such a good watch Excited for the finale! Can't believe you are there already <3

Gotta ask! Do you actually wait one whole week to watch the next ep? Or no? I always hated waiting when I was a teen watching back when it originally aired.
