I tend to post these on Mondays, but this month started in a way that made it impossible for me to post a page on the first week, so I'm having to make one week a double update.

In case this is confusing for some... the question is NOT about Puz and Pat marrying each other. It's pointing out that if Puz marries Di, and Pat marries Night, then Di and Night become in-laws, and that thought revolts them.

Common law marriage does exist in England, but it just a social convention and not legal. So Pat and Puz could tell them "oh, let's go see your in-laws", but I don't think that would last very long.
