Yeah, the mood and content shifts with the lighting, or at least I tried to do that. It begins to reverse as it gets towards the end.

I like how the color of the background has grown warmer with each page, from the subdued dark purple to that particular shade of red that makes you think of fire, in time with puz losing her inhibitions.

It's more akin to stuff like 'Story of O', which is about discovering identity, within a bdsm context. I think people would freak out if I literally had Puzzle flogged or whatnot. Besides, it makes for good alliteration.
