I did that but it says I can't use cheats because I am not using the patreon version of the game but it has the secret shush next to the game's name in my library so I was pretty sure I had set it up correctly. Is there something else I need to do?

No no. Its not elegal. Its about Steams unwillingness to implement a propper age-veryfing-system, wich is nescesserry by German law to provide Pornografie. Why the German Law is making a difference between exessive Violence and everything Sexy is byond me and most other sane People...

Than Propably this Guy did something wrong. I think i remember that Steam makes a Difference with Game Keys and Beta Keys. Maybe he tried to aktivate a Beta key in the section for Game Keys? The aktivation goes from the library anyway and the Library is not supposed to make any Remarks like that. Maybe i can test that for you? I would require a Beta Key for that tho.

Oh but how can I get a game key for a free product? The beta applies to the demo currently

That requires a Game Key before the Beta Key. For the Beta Key to work the Game needs to be in the Library first. This only works with a Game Key as far as i know.

I see. Well I was planning on selling the game for 5USD also I tried sending a beta key to a German once but It didn’t work because it said “this content isn’t available in your country”

Other Creators sometimes use this Concept if their Game goes on Steam. The Problem that such Games are generally not available in Germany, South Korea and most Arabean Countries for Steam gets mitigated like that. Some give out Beta Keys, others do something else. Sometimes bound to a specific Patreon Tier that pays enought Money or to a Pledge Goal bound to a specific Sum that would reach the desired Sum of the Game (mostly the amount it is sold on Steam for). Of course this is only nescesserry if a Game ist at some Point ONLY available on Steam, wich is something more and more Creators do to monetize teir Games. Mostly big Games tho like Fallen Doll:Operation Lovecraft from Project Helius for example. In Case of Quimbly its not relevant, because its available here on Patreon. I was thinking into the Futur with my Comment.

Got it. I hoped that i can get the Steam version in Steam and than get Updates there in the Futur. And we are not there by now. Do you have a Plan on how to aproach the Pricing for such in the Futur? Maybe a 15 Bucks Teer on Patreon?
