I'm so sorry that our douche society makes amazing, gorgeous people like you feel shitty for the stupidest things it can come up with. However idk what's going on in the middle comic, girl sounds up on the latest biologisms! Sharks are all about the mams c'mon https://www.pinterest.com/pin/392516923752301809/

When I'm working crazy 10+ hour shifts on Saturday I split my one 30 minute break in two, and one of my coworkers, he's a boss, has been like "you're eating again?!" Well dick it's been 5 hours and I'm here three more so yes, I'm sitting down and eating.

NO MY REPTILIAN ANGEL IN DISGUISE. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL and the last comic made me sad. I love your face.

In all my family's reunions, no matter how much you put in your plate, people are gonna make jokes about how much you're eating. It sounds annoying (and it is), but at least I grew up not giving half a shit about what people say or think about my food. I know it's counterintuitive, but this is one of those situations where people seem impossible to please, so you just stop trying. And caring. I know most people are gonna relate to the last strip, since it's more personal, but I'm a Biology teacher too, and that second one just broke my heart. As it happens in a weekly basis in the classroom... :ó(

Thanks for making that last comic. It's definitely something I connect with on an emotional level. I just started a new job and I'm currently in the process of trying to convince my co-workers that NO I really DON'T want to eat lunch with them. It's impossible to express that's it's because I'm ashamed, not because I'm antisocial. Anyway this turned into a bit of a rant. I just wanted to say that I really appreciate that comic and I love you and your work. <3

I have totally been there, Abby. In fact, I often avoid eating in public and then I'm ravenous on the way home. It's frustrating-- I *want* to prioritize my own LIFE above what strangers think of me, but it's something I'm still working on. People who think less of you for your size or (heavens forfend!) eating? They are not worthy of knowing the amazing person you are. Haters gonna hate.
