Sunday Post - Rusty Seas Alpha (Corner Fox Update!)
🕑 Added 2021-09-12 17:01:02 +0000 UTCMy week off from my normal schedule has yielded a new update for Rusty Seas!
What's new:
- The first appearance of Corner Fox
- Item shopping now implemented, with the Soda and Burger available at AWOO's. No tutorials exist yet, so here's the rundown: the number row along the top can be used to select items, or you can use Q and E to scroll back and forth. W activates the selected item.
- LOTS of dialogue added, especially in AWOO's
- Rearranged the world map
- Added a new level (Scarecrow Seashore)
- Added alternate downed animation for generic vixens to better convey when they can be thrown into the water
- Includes updates from the July 25th patch (rebindable keys, adjustable volumes, warning signs for off screen objects, and others)
- Various bug fixes and rebalances
Still to come:
- Replacing placeholder graphics for rustheaps in Scarecrow Seashore
- Saving
- The return of Nymph in Crumpled Cornershop
- Phone conversations with Lalo
- Tutorials on using items
As usual, please let me know if there are any bugs, breaks, or exploits, and I'll compile a patched version if necessary. And thanks again for supporting me while I continue my work! Expect more art and pole-dancing shark in the next and coming weeks!
EDIT: One of the early players caught a bug that can cause a crash during the opening scene in/behind AWOO's. I replaced the attached version with a simple fix, so if you're experiencing the crash, just redownload the attachment. And again, don't hesitate to let me know about any other bugs or crashes!
