Sounds good to me. I'm definitely interested in the bonus pods so I'll be checking out the $5 tier when it launches. Thank you for all the hard work over the years, and I hope things turn around for you and your wife in 2021. And don't forget that family comes first, if you ever need to take a break to focus on that I think pretty much everyone would understand.

First of all, best of luck to you and your wife, I hope her health and your financial situation both get better. Regarding tiers, I must say that I would not recommend upping the lowest tier, on the contrary. I have never liked the practice of "rewarding" patrons with services and/or merchandise in the first place (although I do benefit from it) and it feels wrong to ask people with the lesser means to contribute more when they are likely to be the most impacted by the financial mess that is 2020 (and soon 2021 for those who think it's going to stop anytime soon). Couldn't you instead create a reward-less tier at $1 for those with few means who simply want to contribute? Upper tiers could be made more expensive but it feels wrong to increase the lower tiers those days. (And I am saying that as a higher tier patron who in reality does not care in the least to receive episodes in advance. I am happy to have access to patron-only posts but that's about it, computing whether the higher tiers are worth it or not is frankly a pain and I could simply purchase the books when they are out and/or would be fine with a patron-discount if there was any (not that there needs to be one)). Anyway, I am not going to stop being a patron but it feels to me that creators issue is not really one of setting the right prices for each tiers but rather of finding a proper way to get viewers to pay for the videos in the first place. If everyone who watches your videos and likes them paid 0.50$ for it (a price that all of them can afford), including 0.05$ for YouTube fees, then both you and Google would be reasonably paid for your efforts. The free-access pay-with-ads-or-via-charity Internet business model imposed by our capitalist world does not really work long term and at some point we will need to find a better way to pay creators than voluntary charity. I wonder if there are already creators networks who work to change that? If not, there should be. Thanks for your hard work!
