Vampire Survivors is an excellent base for Ikki's theming. Hordes of enemies, focus more on surviving than vanquishing them, screen keeps hero at the center of the screen at all times. Sounds like a winning formula

In all seriousness, my past twoish years of playing SG-1000 + Master System stuff really makes the NES's palette shortcomings obvious. Peter Pepper looks like he's traipsing across well-cooked edamame veggie burgers.
