Good lord did nothing about this strip go right. From the outset neither the script nor the art wanted to come together the way I wanted. I have no idea why this one was so trying for me. It's not complicated, it's a simple gag yet neither the joke nor the art came out like I wanted. I was *this* close to just scrapping the whole update but I made the choice to run with what I could manage. I'm sorry about how this one came out folks. I did my best, but when art block hits, it hits hard. At the very least I was able to introduce this universe's version of Anya, whose look is closer to what I envisioned for her originally in C6.
Next update will be a new C6 on Monday. It's Thanksgiving here in the US so I'm going to be a little bit on the busy side, but I don't foresee any trouble getting the strip up so long as my stupid art block stays clear.

She's a lot of fun to write! C6 would've been a very different world had I stuck with this version of her.

I think it came out pretty well, honestly. Force!Butterfly is delightfully campy, and that definitely came through.

Oh for- what did I just tell you last strip Michelle? You really do need to stop letting your own personal dislike for Evita cloud your judgement and keep an open mind about the information she had been willing to share. You might have been able to uncover exactly how she has been able to work out just where AND when all of these Pherocites attacks have been showing up (instead of relying on members of the public to call it in), something which your team's R&D department would greatly appreciate! But no, it seems like she's not going to share this with you, due to how you are too quick to dismiss what exactly she has to say...

Oh for- What did I just tell you last strip Michelle? You really should have tried to play a little nicer with Evita, since her group seems to have just made a pretty major research breakthrough (which your own R&D department might still be busy working on), one which is giving them advance warning about when AND where Pherocites are going to be showing up next (don't know if it covers the exact numbers of the things yet, but that might be in their next update). That's something which could be extremely vital for your group, to help improve your reaction times in responding to any big threats (since it currently seems like you have to be called in by members of the public to deal with any outbreaks)! But, because you weren't willing to try and be diplomatic on this matter (only seeing Evita as just a spoiled brat who's using this as an excuse to wear rubber out in public), even if she can come across as a jerk, it seems like Evita hasn't been willing to share HOW this intel was uncovered... Makes you wonder if any of Michelle's team have actually brought up that particular issue before (since Evita may have successfully encountered their team way too often for it to be due to random chance), only for Michelle to blow them off, due to her not taking Evita seriously? Just a weakness which most versions of Michelle has, namely how she tends to underestimate certain characters. But it's certainly very nice to see how this world's version of Anya looks! I could see her having gotten used to Evita's behavior over the time she's spent working for the blonde and just tuning out a lot of Evita's egotistical rants about her proving Michelle wrong...
