I wasn't doing so great mentally, plus the covid vaccine wiped me out for a few days, plus family stuff and my life became a mess for a bit. So far, things seem pretty stable again. I'm sure I'll regret saying that, but regardless.
Nowthen, the strip. Yep, it's a two-paneler. The next strip will be up Thursday and the pencils are already done. I'm trying an approach of doing 2-3 panel strips which I hope to be able to produce faster so I can keep these rolling out instead of going a week at a time. I'm hoping it'll lessen the stress on my end and make for a steadier stream of content and keep the narrative in reader's minds.
I'm going to focus on C6 for a while because none of my side ideas every really seem to go anywhere and I can't seem to properly devote myself to more than one primary storyline at a time. C6 is so full of tangled narratives and plot holes it's already more than I can keep track of.
With that said, I do enjoy a spot of writing short stories for my personal enjoyment at times and I wonder if anyone would be interested in my slipping one in from time to time? Naturally it'd include an illustration or two, but I find it enjoyable to be able to just let a stream of consciousness flow without the restraints of panels and the limitations of my shite drawing 'skills'.
On a personal note, I'd like to thank all of you who reassured me and provided me with encouragement and concerns for my health. It helped me come to terms with needing the time to rest and genuinely eased my fears. This strip is my sole income and I'm constantly worried about failing and putting my partner and I out on the streets. I'm not a supertalent creator in either narrative or art, I enjoy a small, supportive audience and I'm always worried I'm going to piss y'all off or generally just bore y'all. And when I hit rough patches, I agonize because. Well, the stuff I said above. So thank you all, not just for supporting me here financially, but caring about me and easing my fears and doubts. It helps. Really.
I'll be back with a new one in a couple of days y'all. And for those of you upset at my dragging my characters through the mud like this, rest assured, Blackstone is going to pay for everything she's doing here.

Strips are the length that they need to be. Some will be longer, some will be short. Let the story decide how much is needed each update.

Oh dang, things are looking really bad for our heroes right now: Trina's just been taken out by Blackstone once again (being overpowered and rendered unable to access the mana boost Laura had been providing her with, so trying to fight Blackstone head on is no longer an option) and she will soon be brought to the stables where Blackstone houses all those pony-girls whom she has taken a personal interest in training (which will certainly not be a very fun experience for Trina); along with Ginger still firmly under Blackstone's mental influence and seemingly unable to break free from it by herself... And after seeing all of these recent events playing out right in front of her eyes, while being totally powerless to do anything to help any of her family, is it really any wonder that we are starting to see Michelle break down emotionally; with her slowly starting to lose any real hope of them potentially escaping from this whole situation without help? And even if a rescue does actually come soon; all the time they have already spent as captives, along with the things Blackstone has done to various members of the group, will be leaving them with issues that will take time and effort to recover from. Certainly am curious to see how exactly Blackstone's fall may potentially end up coming about! As for stressing out about the art block on all your various projects, don't worry about this too much and be willing to take some breaks if you need them... Art block happens to everyone, we're willing to wait for as long as it takes to get over the problem, okay? And I would love to see what exactly your written stories would be like, since you have come up with some really interesting concepts so far. Like I've said before, I am willing to keep supporting you to the very best of my abilities, no matter what might happen!
