I didn't think anyone would appreciate that, so I left it blank this time. Sorry if I made the wrong call there.
NOWTHEN. BOY WAS MY RETURN TO A 3-UPDATES-A-WEEK-THING A BUST. Couldn't even get two updates in before I dropped the ball. So here's the reality: I can't make these things as fast as I used to. I'm 43, my mental health is garbage, I have a S/O who is struggling with health issues and it just seems like something always needs my attention. And when that's not the issue I'm struggling to pull myself together to draw well enough to be presentable. I'm a mess. My life is a mess. And I can't be the factory I used to be. No matter how much coffee I've put into myself (and believe me, I go through a lot of coffee).
I thought trying to do these 2-panel strips three times a week would make it manageable, but nope. Ten years ago I could churn out a strip in 24 hours flat. Today two days straight and I still can't produce a finished product. I'd never make it in a professional industry and it's only out of the compassion and sympathy of y'all that I'm still stumbling along with this. I've said I'm sorry so many times it's likely lost meaning to anyone but I have to say it again. I'm sorry. I wish I could work faster. I wish I were more efficient, I wish my methods of production were viable and not antiquated. But I'm shit at my job. No real excuse for that.
Next update will come early next week. It'll be 3-4 panels and I won't be trying this Mon/Wed/Fri thing anymore. I'm going to aim for 2 updates a week consisting of 3-4 panel strips (rather than three 2-panel strips) and hope it works out. I'm sorry again everyone. Thank you all for continuing to support me despite my constant failings. I'm doing my best, even if it sucks.

These last two-panel installments have been very effective (at least to me). They remind me of some of our cooking philosophy in that you don't need the entire spice cabinet - just the one or two items that work. These installments are like that - a little bit of speech, a little bit of foreshadowing and a not-so-nice person getting punched out

Don't worry about it, we all know that things can be super stressful at the best of times and sometimes, events end up happening which are totally out of our control... Please stop beating yourself up over all of this though, okay? We can accept whatever you do come up with and will continue to keep supporting you guys through all of these trying times that we're living in. Remember that fact whenever you feel like doubting yourself! And sure looks like the Starlight Butterfly is not someone who should be messed with, given that they have managed to take out Rhondonite in a single punch, while planning to continue tormenting Evita for her past crimes themselves and not leaving this task to anyone else... It sure seems like they are holding onto a twisted desire here, wonder if some of the older story theories about who was actually under the mask is the truth? But certainly am wondering if Rhondonite is doing okay (only having been knocked out from the last attack, which seems to be the case), or if they have now become the very first casualty of this new fight between Blackstone's forces and whoever's sided with Starlight Butterfly. Guess we'll all have to wait and see what is actually happening here!
