As I mentioned last update, my mental health has not been great and while I have so far avoided hospitalization, it's not out of the question yet. I'm sure I've mentioned this before at some point, but in addition to being trans and having to deal with constant gender dysphoria (cause I'm a dumb, cowardly chud who transitioned in her late 30s) I have borderline personality disorder (bpd) and major depressive disorder (mdd). I struggle with hopelessness, self-hatred, intense emotional instability and frequent thoughts of un-aliving myself. I've attempted it several times over the past few years, resulting in involuntary stays at the Loony Bin Hotel and as such, I prefer to avoid another visit. And while I'm doing my best, but I'm not what I used to be and y'all can certainly tell from my erratic output these past couple of years.
I'm not going to give hard update days anymore, because I keep failing to meet them again and again. I'll always aim for one a week and don't plan to change my work habits. But I won't pretend these things take longer (since I am actually trying much harder than I used to back when I popped 3 of these out a week) and I can't deny how badly my mental health and depression are interfering with my ability to art. Just expect updates to come roughly a week after the last, really. Sometimes it may be a couple of days late, but I never really stop working on them.
I'm not going to be raising the price for admission here, so if y'all upped your pledge in preparation, I truly appreciate it, but there's no need. What I offer here, especially in my current sorry state isn't worth what I already ask and I can't in good conscious raise prices as things are.
That's it for this update's pity party. I apologize for whining so much. I feel obligated to at least let y'all know why I've been radio silent for almost two weeks. It wasn't planned and I felt a lot of guilt but I simply could not draw anything worth a shit for almost a week due to my mental health. It took a great deal of cleaning up to make this one remotely presentable. Anyways, I said I was done whining and here I am doing more of it. Next update will be in roughly a week from now. Hope y'all are still enjoying this despite it all. Thanks for always being supportive and caring towards me y'all.

No worries Fiona, I hope you are feeling better now? And we all totally understand that real life can throw curveballs that no-one can predict, so posting any updates whenever you can is totally reasonable for me. I do have to admit though that I'm actually really super envious of your great skills with regards making art like this, given my best efforts are pretty much stick figures in comparison! But seeing all of your art and these comic updates always help to brighten up my own day though... Back to the details being revealed here and it's certainly interesting to see just how alike Xor and their sister are, them having both extended their lifespans by what are clearly very unnatural methods? Even if the methods which have resulted in Lyn becoming Blackstone make her actually able to both freely stick around and interact with the world for an extended amount of time, not to mention her being able to use her full Atlantean powers without any real long term issues (at least from what we can see here, since there might be some hidden cost which could potentially be used against her); especially when compared to Xor, who seems like he may end up burning out all of the bodies that he'd use and the victims can also potentially fight against his control. Still, seems like Lyn does still seem to feel some compassion for her brother, with them seemingly offering to give Xor a body of their own, one which would be akin to hers (with all the advantages I mentioned above)! Will Xor actually take this offer though, since he might be too prideful to lower himself into becoming what he might feel is a lesser being, or will he surprise us by actually accepting it for a while (either to see exactly what she has been planning, with him backstabbing her once he's learnt all everything she's offering, or because he also cares for her as the last part of their family and the single link to their past)... Personally, I'm kind of leaning towards the second option here (with it being genuine on his part), given that Xor's whole Start of Darkness was due to him losing to her to those who that he'd viewed as being mere savages? Of course, I could also see him potentially having an Even Evil Has Standards moment, once he realizes just what she has been doing in order to both survive and retain her power for so long. Still, I can wait for however long it takes for the next update to come! So, you don't need to put any extra forms of stresss on yourself here...
