One of the things that I like about Jim is that his affection for his colleagues -- and theirs for him -- seems so completely genuine. He's just so NICE, and you can see the fun everyone's having in a way that ... forgive me ... was not quite so apparent in my research into Paul Lynde's work. I love you can see Jim and Carol corpsing all the time because they just thought the other was so funny. I agree, Jim Nabors seems like he was delightful to be around. And also I must watch that Muppets episode because he's a perfect fit.

Just caught the Rita Moreno (Lin Manuel Miranda directed) documentary in which she talks about how much she hated her Oscars speech. She was so surprised to win it she was caught totally unprepared and came to feel she'd missed an opportunity to say something profound for such a historic groundbreaking occasion.
