I'm in the process of adding the extra pages that were featured in Volume 5 to the website today— I figured I'd share them here first for anyone who hasn't seen them! We do extra pages like this during Kickstarters and add them to the site after a year or so, so these were our gift to backers for helping us reach goal. ♥ They're pretty on topic for the current arc, as well!
I've attached them to this post for now, and they'll have a permanent home after chapter 16 in our archive in the future!

RoomRater would give it a 10/10!

I feel like Milo’s reel definitely includes him belting out “Don’t Rain on My Parade” from Funny Girl

This is super helpful, thank you! In my mind "decent" means "nothing to get a big head about, despite it being something you can practice and improve at too"— but I think I could probably think of a way to get that across a bit better, too. I may rework panel 1 a little - thanks for helping me think through this!

If want another take on how Laurie's feedback reads, it feels very much like "Voice acting isn't what you're good at, it's singing. And you are a very good singer." I think Laurie def reads as a little harsh on the previous page but this page rounded him out into just being fairly upfront with his feedback. Hope that helps!

Laurie's room is stunning!

P.S. This page reminded me how sad I am that there won't be any Runt and Rita segments in the Animaniacs reboot.

Oh— I'm actually really confused and worried about this feedback! I think Laurie is definitely intending to be candid, and perhaps even blunt, but definitely not mean. He's quite complimentary; Milo is tearing up because he's complimented in a way he's never felt before. I'll have to ponder this for a few days and think about it before the page goes live!

You know, he's kind of mean. He surely knows how he's jerking Milo around, and I guess he thinks that because he ends on a high note it's okay. "Hey, Milo! You have a fantastic singing voice, and to be able to sing that well in character is quite rare. Lots of people can do voices while speaking--yours were decent but not spectacular--but I played your singing to our casting people..."
