The real shame is he's one of the coolest espada (maybe 3rd or 4th coolest) and his manga fight is actually kinda dope, the art goes crazy. And it's not dragged out forever. Anime really takes his shine away

[Tidbits] - Szayelaporro's (Pink Hair Espada) release name before translation is actually "Fornicarás", this is why he moans when he releases and does so by provocatively licking and sticking the sword down his throat. (This is also in play when you think about his abilities, he releases a bunch of sticky liquid that creates a new person) - I presume others will mention it but Orihime actually doesn't have orange hair in the manga, it's a color mistake done by the anime. - Kubo is intentionally using parallels with the previous arc, that's why Nnoitra (5th Espada) seems similar to Kenpachi as Szayelaporro is similar to Mayuri

So unfortunately they had to pad the episodes here, kind of like they have to do in spots with one piece, and in this case they padded out the flight with Renji and uryu rather than ruining the really hype one. It's just a product of old shounen. They'd either do filler episodes, or pad the episodes out with repeated shots, reactions of other characters to things, or new content. Gintama is probably the only old very long running shounen I can think of that has no episodes padded out. It's also basically impossible to spot filler in gintama, and there's basically almost no filler in it to begin with. Of course you've got to wait like 50 episodes for the first big epic fights, it's mostly a comedy, but when they hit they're honestly some of the best fights in shounen. It's also got the weirdest fights in shounen. Dunno if you'll ever react to gintama, it's honestly my favorite anime, in fact it's a lot of people's favorite.

Nel’s adult form is her true form. She’s not a baby, she just lost her powers and memory so she acted like one. So she’s not just “a baby in an adult body”. She just retains some of that goofy personality toward Ichigo. I think Ron might’ve been conflicted when she transformed if he should call her good looking or not like what he did with Yoruichi 😭

Lol I can’t lie like the uryu renji fight would be good if peche and dondachaka wasn’t there. Og bleach fans know the pain of waiting a full week for a new episode just to get an episode with them in it and it was annoying. Most of them will do the other way around, produce a full screen image from an original 4:3 one, that at least I can understand in some capacity...

Fun Fact in the Manga Szayelapprro's zanpakuto is called Fornicaras which means "fornication" essentially. I cant remember why it was changed in the anime. Regardless La Lujuriosa means the "The Lustful One" so he a freak for sure giving his blade the gluck gluck 3000 with either name.
