HONESTLY I think you're on the money! Often times when I'm struggling it's cus I can't feel the picture progressing or it's losing something from overworking... so in this case I guess I just straight up slapped an old version down as a reminder :O

Tbh for a moment I was like "this is so big brained" bc when I clean up my sketches I sometimes forget what my original vibe was because I spend too much time cleaning it up ; - ; . So I was watching the timelapse like "omg they're so smart they're keeping the old sketch as a mental note" meanwhile you're like "what the hell was I doing there??" LOL
