Steam Work
So for all Kickstarter backers, a Steam Beta is meant to go live this week which is the beta before the game is complete and goes on sale on Steam. So a lot of backend and preparatory work had to be done to make sure the game is compatible with Steam.
The AI system works differently in the Steam release because Steam does NOT allow having external APIs for things like text and voice generation unless it is done through Steam's wallet (including free services :p), that means that the Steam release does not support self host or alternative generation methods, HOWEVER we will release the self host and alternative generation features as a simple downloadable mod (as a Workshop download if possible).
Kickstarter Backer Fulfillment
This completes all custom clothing pieces that people asked for on the Kickstarter: a jersey and a shark tail. The next step is to complete all the custom ANIMATIONS and gestures that people asked for.
This includes adding certain dances! However this was delayed by one week due to the Steam Beta.
Next week should resume the final Quality of Life Part 3 which will include regularly scheduled new features (dance behaviors in this case).
