This movie seems straight up aggravating. Seems like scene after scene of how not to make a music biopic. I know a lot of people, myself included, tend to have some issues with a lot of music biopics, but damn this is really bad. So thankful we have Love & Mercy.

I do remember watching it when it premiered and taping it too. It did got me into the Beach Boys a bit more soon after. I liked it because how they used the actual recordings, but there were a few funny moments like Brian showing Dennis how to play the drums with his mouth. But as I learned more about the Beach Boys, I could see that this is more of Mike Love's biopic whereas Love and Mercy is Brian's biopic. Team Brian wins hands down!
