I have seen James' solution! While it's pretty damn cool, as always, I'd love to have a crack at it myself ๐ I've also got some ideas on integration that are fairly unique to this particular lathe that I'm keen to explore. It'll definitely be worth having a squiz at the source code of James' els though, and thanks for mentioning it!
