This is not any of their main hustles or focus. Them putting out a schedule and then not being able to commit to it would be worse than no schedule at all. Set up Patreon notifications for your email and you'll be notified whenever they upload. They've consistently uploaded on the weekends, sometimes Mondays if they miss an upload Friday Saturday or Sunday.

Yes! The highest tier gets videos one week ahead on weekends and the uncut tier is just the YouTube schedule (one vid a day) but uncut obviously lol.

I’m so happy to hear this because I loved this season and it solidified this anime as my favorite of all time as of now. I don’t care about the pacing cause I prefer deep shit than mindless action scenes. But with that said I’m sooooo hyped for what’s to come as a non-manga reader!!

4 days without a post or any comment. Sure it's not *exactly* a delay since they haven't said an actual schedule (as far as I've seen), but tbh that's really what I was talking about and just said delay for this instance. I mean they're charging Netflix/Amazon Prime kinda prices and we don't even know if we'll get an episode for days. It's obviously not the same situation and I wouldn't expect or ask that kind of production from them, but I'm not. This is the longest gap between posts as far as I remember, but people have asked them for a schedule for quite a while now, and again I'd honestly be okay with having to wait however long, if I knew what I was getting and when.

I just know that Carter is going to absolutely love this season. There is actually not a big time skip since the S1 finale, it's more or less a year (or even less that that) so you wouldn't see Thorffin that different. Also, he is small, I guess from all that malnourishment when he was a kid. Hope you guys are enjoying so far!!

Just as Yukimura wrote Askeladd's character for Thorfinn in season 1, he wrote Einar for him in season 2. As you can already tell, Einar is going to be a good friend for Thorfinn. The writing is still good with the farm setting. It symbolizes growth and perseverance along with many other themes (but the main theme is violence and you'll know what Yukimura's anti-violence message by the end of this season). Remember, Isayama's inspiration for creating Attack on Titan came from his experience with growing up on a farm that was surrounded by mountains.

Just finished ep 23 and I’m so jealous that you guys get to experience peak back to back… tears have been shed. VS is my fav anime of all time after this season. The pace will not be what you guys are used to but the depth of this show beats all and every action fighting scene, in my book. I really hope you guys enjoy this season. They don't understand that shorter people exist? Just because Thors was big doesn't mean Thorfinn will be. In fact its better for him to be on the smaller side. People judge a book by its cover. You wouldn't expect him to be insanely fast, insanely well skilled, and just generally being smaller fits well with knifes being your chosen action of combat.

If I had a nickels for everytime WIT animated an insane anime and handed it over to MAPPA after animating what is sometimes called the prologue and MAPPA started work after a huge time skip where the main character had some insane growth; I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice

as an anime only watcher i think it's because we spent a whole season with lots of that shonen type stuff and the pacing change pretty abruptly, so people originally expect it to be the same vibe and pacing, if they made the prologue a bit shorter and made the time jump more seamless people would't compain as much, but again maybe that's just the way it's written on the manga

Keep an open mind be be willing to enjoy the AMAZING & CAPTIVATING story writing throughout this season. If you do that, y’all will have such a DEEPER connection to these characters and others you will meet. Season 1 and Season 2 are both top tier (for differnt reasons). And as someone who is all for action and such, this season truly one of the best storytelling ones. But there’s enough hype that you will get to see 🔥

I’m just gonna say this now it’s definitely not 90% if anything it’s more like 40% it’s the Shonen people the others 40-50% dislike like for understandable reasons but everytime anyone voices any type of complaint about this season the whole community resorts to “go watch an anime with more action then” or some other dumbass response. So just FYI if you have any takes about disliking the season be ready to be cussed out and etc.

Season 2 is a slow going, but the later part of the season you get more action, not season 1 level of action, but pretty good action. I struggled with the first half a bit for the same reason some of you mentioned, its a lot slower action wise, but the episodes i am in now are very interesting, i think season 3 will go very hard. I see season 2 (or season 1 if you look at it like that) more of a building up new characters and building up the ones that still are from season 1, i see it basically as a build up for a new story. I think some of you might have a hard time just like i had with the first half, but i think atleast carter will love the first half of the season alot more.

Great reaction guys. I think it's important to delve in to these episodes without the hype from the crowd (comment section). It's still early to know where the show will go but it will without a doubt be worth it. In my honest opinion I think season 2 is better than 1.

The reason theres mixed reviews about the season is because there from the people that are into the shonens like dragon ball and naruto where theres action 90% of the time. They don’t understand that it makes no sense for the story to have that much fighting beings that the last season ended with thorfinn having no reason to fight anymore. This is where thorfinn finally gets some character development that the prologue lacked, since it was mainly closing up arcs for characters like askeladd and setting up the rest of the story for characters like thorfinn and canute.

Unlike AOT, There is no Art style or Animation change in season 2. It looks exactly the same as season 1, just a little bit more polished. So if you didn't know it before, you wouldn't be able to tell it's made by a different studio. Glad Mappa gave vinland season 2 a chance. It was not very successful in japan or in streaming services but they still produced it anyway.
