Jujutsu kaisen is the kind of show that start slow and bright then goes hard the next seasons. s2 is so good and fun!! it’s not like aot so exciting at first season/episode. i used to be obsessed with aot even after finishing it i couldn’t watch jjk bcs it’s so different, and couldn’t continue first season but then i fell hard for jjk instead of aot 🤦🏻‍♀️ especially in the manga somethings that is happening is mind blowing ! The author honestly is crazy 😭

I don’t remember the exact episode I dropped it; but I realised I had been tuning out for the past couple of episodes, so I didn’t continue. I had a feeling that if I wasn’t invested at this point, maybe this story isn’t for me. But it also could be that I wasn’t in the mood for this kind of story at the time. That’s a great point to bring up! -San is more formal than -kun. “-kun” is mainly for men or younger boys. “-San” is like someone you don’t know regardless of age. There’s also “-Chan” which is for women and sometimes even used for children. Senpai means master/senior. And sensei is pretty self explanatory

bruh how am I crazy lol. Shounen manga adaptations (when good) are usually 2-3 chapters an episode. What is 1000/2-3? 300-500. Even AoT, which is longer than the average shounen chapter and has more dialogue, adapts 1.5-2.5 chapters an episode. Even the earlier one piece episodes are 2-3 chapters an episode, sometimes more because One Piece has a lot of action. Just look at the facts: https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/pw74ug/one_piece_anime_adaptation_rate_by_arc_average_no/. You even see the point when the anime starts catching up to the manga so it intentionally slows down from 2-3 chapters an episode to 0.5 - 1. This is why many complain about the pacing. Sorry but there is no way you can reason adapting literally HALF a chapter to a full episode on anime. That should take 5 minute max, especially with One Piece.

Also old shounen just hasn’t aged well in terms of pacing. What should take 2 episodes instead takes 5-6 due to weekly shounen needing to stay behind the manga. It’s the reason One Piece should only be max 1080/2.5 = 432 episodes at this point, but instead it’s over 1000. The pacing for these shows is ABYSMAL compared to seasonal shows. Even if you exclude filler, the canon episodes are so inflated it’s not even funny lol (how many times did they flashback to Naruto on a swing set? We get it already)

Having grown up with it I have a soft spot, but I agree. 15 year old me consumed loads of garbage (SAO, School Days) and even I couldn’t get through the terrible hell that was the final arc lol. Pain and Chuunin Exam arcs are based though. As is Killer B.

Alright fellas as a loyal patreon member i must get something off my chest... i love naruto, i grew up watching naruto on disney xd and adult swim, i literally hid in the bathroom freshman year of high school to watch the final naruto and sasuke fight as it dropped. the show has a special place in my heart. With that being said, the story of the show is objectively kinda bad after a certain point. I think up until the pain arc, it was an absolutely fantastic show that just had a lot of the same problems that anime of the time had (filler in the form of flashbacks, full episodes, and dialogue etc.) but because of the manga and anime release schedule the show really took a nose dive after the pain arc. Firstly, the power creep is absurd, at the beginning of the show everyone is a ninja who has special abilities, and by the end of the show they are fighting literal aliens and have become capable of destroying whole massive areas of land. Sometimes this is okay, like in the case of gurren laggan, but in naruto the way it happened just felt so plot armory and unbelievable. The absolute worst part of the show is its inability to develop other characters aside from naruto and sasuke. Obviously there are fantastic characters in the show like itachi, madera, jiraiya, pain, and many others but after building so much up in part one with lee and gaara just for them to basically end up as insignificant is just terrible especially because they had such great starts (and dont even get me started on sakura). What really bothers me about the show is the plot holes and talk-no-jutsu. The amount of plot holes and inconsistencies in the show is astonishing, i don't want to spoil anything in here for anyone who wants to watch it but it takes about 2 brain cells to realize how gaping and blatant some of them are particularly later on in the series. In the case of tak-no-jutsu, i think most people can agree at a certain point it became unbearable. aside from a select few, in most major conflicts of the story naruto would literally end up just convincing the villains what they were doing is wrong and everything would be solved. In a world like narutos, this is just absolutely unbelievable. The reason that I typed this out was because i hear naruto thrown out so much on this channel and i have no problem with anyone loving the show but to compare it to something like AOT or Vinland is just crazy. The stories are just levels different. Like i said, im glad people love naruto, i love naruto, its literally what got me into anime but its a product of its time in some of the worst ways possible and i don't think i could recommend anyone watch it today because of how tedious it is, especially when there are far better shows out there. I think at the end of the day, Naruto is a B-teir show with some unforgettable S-Teir moments. But as super eye patch wolf said in his video, the highs are very high but the lows are so incredibly low.

Shinsekai Yori is on another level. It’s got a very different style and tone from most anime, so I’m not sure if casual anime watchers would like it. It would be cool to see them react to it though. I’m glad you guys picked up JJK. I’ll be honest, I kind of dropped it at around ep 13. I want to give this series a fair chance, so I’m hoping you guys give me the motivation to continue. JJK is very different from DN and VS; in tone and pacing. I think switching between the three will give you guys better experience in the long-run. What you find lacking in one series, you would probably find in another. If there’s any three anime series to watch simultaneously, I think you chose the best. It gives you a taste of what this medium has to offer, and would probably give you a sense of what type of anime you would enjoy.

A lot of New reaction channels makes a mistake of reacting to too many shows at once to the point they feel overwhelmed and they start making pauses in even short shows like DN or something slayer. This makes the audience and comment section even more toxic, if content they are interested in is cut short, or they are suddenly getting less episodes per week etc. I understand the hype an opportunity for the channel with new releases like something slayer 3 or soon jjk2, but please consider this before you will be adding more shows to the channel before finishing old ones. I am not saying that this 100% applies also to you, maybe you can handle it perfectly, i just seen few apology videos with burned out reaction content creators, so its just a something worth sharing a believe
