I think this whole reaction channel is about trying new things so if they are even going to consider sports manga haikyu is definitely the best 👌 also I get what you mean with blue lock but it also has a lot of tropes so it's not like they would avoid those by watching it and haikyu is a lot more complete and the animation is a lot better soooo....🤔

I said "known to have a good dub" because some shows are just known to have better dubs than other shows and I have heard that is the case with FMAB many times. As for my personal opinion on FMAB is that I like both about equally but dub edges it out because of that bias in me lol, to me the English voices are iconic. The voice of King Bradley is one of the best voice actors in English ever imo anime and not anime, it is sooo good. The fact that you say that I have this bias shows to me that you at least somewhat admit it exists. As for your second point I get what you are saying and I generally agree, you are acting like I am some sub hater when I usually watch sub "LMFAO" I'm just not one of those people who thinks it is the only possible way to watch all anime. I think most dub viewers, if you aren't just getting into a yelling match and try to understand, would agree that sub is better objectively and that isn't actually their point. The point is the dub is better for them because they are native English speakers, and this is what every dub person I talk to when asking them this says. A bilingual person would never choose to watch the dub I don't think. There is a chunk of people who just don't want to read when watching shows. "Most good dubs are just tolerable" This is where I think that bias you admitted exists kinda shows. FMAB dub is not just tolerable to me, I like it a lot. Yes I'm someone who watched it first in dub, however I have seen other dubs that actually were only tolerable or worse even when watching them first. My point isn't to say one side is biased and therefore the other side is right, I'm saying we are both biased lmao and that is why I said maybe they should try a dub first and then see what they think

Most "good" dubs are just tolerable, and only stick out because dubs are so universally known to be horrible. You probably have the exact bias that you just mentioned, because you watched those shows in dub first! I would say apart from ICONIC ones like DBZ or Pokemon (who you could argue the dubs are the most popular because how those shows were distributed and introduced to the west), we would NEVER see a non-native English speaker watching an anime in english and reading the subs LMFAO, imagine latinamerican or european audiences watching FMAB with the english voices with portugese subs, it just doesn't happen man.

Next time you start a show that is known to have a good dub, like FMAB, try the dub episode first then see which you like better because I think that whichever one you hear first your brain just attaches the characters to those voices
