My issue is with that assistant surviving, and conflating Demon Slayer where everyone's always on the brink but never dies. I haven't read the manga so idk but you can't blame people for being skeptical until it's confirmed, although even I thought it was pretty cut and dry this time and I kinda figured it'd happen, maybe just not all of em 😂

fun fact: Playful cloud (the special grade weapon Toji used) was one of Toji's weapons he kept in his worm curse. After Toji and Geto died Gojo got hold of all the weapons inside the worm and allowed his students to use it. The reason you see Toji use playful cloud like on one has ever done before is because 1) he was the original owner of the weapon so he is very familiar with its uses 2) playful cloud is the ONLY curse tool that doesn't use curse therefore the power of the tool depends SOLELY on the raw strength of the wielder 😳

When it comes to Yuta and Gojo being related it is super distant. It's like finding a common ancestor with someone you've never met. So Yuta's power isn't really on account of being related to Gojo but it factors in somewhat.

You guys forgot it was stated in Season 1, that Jogo's power level was at least 8-9 Sukuna fingers. Gojo only makes everyone else appear to be weak. The sorcerers are either barely winning or getting clapped altogether. The stakes are high with no Gojo around.

I think i were to rank the “nature” curses, from worst to best it would be dagon, hanami, and jogo and mahito would be tied. I think mahitos technique and raw power is more powerful, but jogo is much smarter than the rest i think that puts those two around the same level. And geto said that jogo at a low estimate was almost half of sukunas full power so i think mahito is around there as well.

I think the direction for the rest of the season is gonna be just pure carnage from the curses side. Reinforcements will definitely come but i feel like the purpose of this season is to show how real of a problem the sorcerers have. Like they took a massive L with gojo getting sealed, then they stabilized a little by getting rid of the curse users, dagon, and coming up with a plan to rescue gojo. Then they just took another L this episode with two first grades going out of commission or dead leaving only mei mei and the coat guy with a sword as the highest ranking sorcerers in the area, not to mention sukunas resurrection. I think one thing we could maybe see is panda and the sword guy vs mahito (i kinda feel like the writers put them together to fight mahito but i could be wrong), as far as sorcerers getting a W but i think thats about it (i dont think mahito will die in this season either, just kinda be injured i guess idk). As far as reinforcements go though theres a lot who could help, but with my earlier prediction i think the only ones who could come is todo and kamo clan kid, as they would help but wouldnt be too overwhelming. I feel like both yuki and yuta coming at the same time would change the power balance too fast. But theres also a lot of people they are saving like the tokyo third years and members of the three clans (im assuming theres at least a few first grades in each or they wouldnt be major clans) that we know nothing about yet. Crazy episode though.

Naobito is still the faster than Jogo but due to losing an arm in the Dagon fight and not in his best conditions, Jogo got him. This was explained in the manga but left off in the anime.

This ep made me realize oh how the power scaling is insane, like all the time we thought JOGO is a weak curse who gets played in every fight not realizing he was just going up against GOJO which is unfair for poor JOGO, however also the difference between the power of Toji and the old man zenin + nanami is also insane + when the narrator was saying something about toji's fangs and he is staring at the strongest it should've been showing toji staring at megumi but idk why they did not show it that way
